True Peak technology lets the CD player’s D/A converter compensate for clipped signals that often appear within the actual mastering of a recording; the smallest distortion no longer stands a chance of interrupting the musical flow. MBL’s Unity Gain function matches the signal strength of the pre-amplifier’s output to the power amplifier’s input, delivering maximum, lifelike dynamics, and vanishing levels of distortion. And to facilitate ease of operation, MBL's SmartLink 2.0 intelligent networking system simplifies controls down to the mere touch of a button for the entire Noble Line system. Firmware can be updated via an onboard SD card reader, and an optional MBL SmartControl module allows for a connection to a home automation system.
